CUSTOM FABRICATION
Hydracore can build special on off machines at low cost. We can use our standard components, used in non standard combinations to provide solutions to special problems. We have tackled many special jobs. Many of our popular drill models started out as special projects. We have a very complete understanding of Hydraulic systems. This allows us to connect our machines with other machines. In these pictures are examples of two such projects.
HYDRACORE BOBCAT DRILL
We built several small machines for augering connected to a small walk behind Bobcat. The larger Bobcat mounted machine showed here was for coring. We built it at first with the B head shown, but later we converted it to an H head. Our hydraulic experience allowed us to connect our hydraulic system to the Bobcat system with very little modification to the Bobcat. Even the pressure pump ran off the hydraulic system on the Bobcat.
HYDRACORE AUGER DRILL
This auger drill shown here is used by a local Vancouver company to do soil sampling. We have built three of them. It is a very tough little drill. They have had the first one for two years and have not managed to break anything on it. We mounted it on this little walk behind bobcat for them. It runs off the hydraulic system on the Bobcat. We could also supply it as a stand alone drill with it’s own powerpack. These machines are better than the augering machines made by some companies that specialize in augering, like Deep Rock. This machine has a far stronger U joint and drive shaft than they use. Also it has about 4 times the pullback force because we use a hydraulic cylinder instead of a chain feed. There are no chains to get loose or break. The U joint is held on by an 1" NF nut, instead of the puny ¼” NC bolt that Deep Rock uses.
