HYDRACORE GOPHER 2000 UG DRILL SPECIFICATIONS
The HC 2000 UG uses many of the same components as the HC 2000 Surface Drill. The drill head, clamp, water pumps, mixers, and winch, are the same as the 2000. The Hydraulic power pack also uses mostly the same components. It uses the same simple and efficient hydraulic circuits as the surface version. This makes it very economical to own if one company needs to do surface and underground drilling, as the spare parts will fit either drill.
The components from the surface version are very simple and reliable low maintenance items that have been well proven. The special components for the UG version are the Feed Frame, and the Feed Frame positioner. The UG feed frame made to be as short as possible so that the drill stations can be kept to the minimum size. A unique cylinder is used that is better than what other suppliers have. The hydraulic feed frame positioner allows the drill to be quickly positioned to drill at any angle from +90 to -90.

Speed/ Torque is continuously variable between maximum and minimum values. More torque is available in reverse for rod breaking, because the reverse pressure is set at the intermittent pressure of the system of 5000 PSI and the maximum pressure in forward is only 3000 psi.
