4000 DRILL SPECIFICATIONS
The HC 4000 is the biggest machine that Hydracore has made. These machines are very strong. The hydraulic circuit has the same capacity as much larger machines. The drill head torque is as high as some of the biggest machines available today. The same simple principles of operation and construction are used on this machine as our smaller ones. These principles lead to a very reliable and low maintenance cost machine.
The ones we have made so far were made as ATV portable machines. Really they started out as one of our special projects. There is a lot more we can do with this design that what we have done. We could build a machine for helicopter moves that would be more powerful than any other helicopter moveable drill available in the world. We could build a 200 Hp machine where none of the loads would exceed 1100 lbs.
We could also truck mount this drill. If we did that we could build a much more compact truck mounted machine than is currently available in this capacity.
We could shack mount this drill. Quite a few of our customers shack mount their HC 2000 Drills. They find these drills can keep up with much larger machines. The 4000 if shack mounted would give a depth capacity of 500 meters HQ or more in quite a compact drill.

Speed/ Torque is continuously variable between maximum and minimum values. More torque is available in reverse for rod breaking, because the reverse pressure is 5000 PSI and the maximum pressure in forward is only 3000 psi.
