The 50 HP UG drill is made for mines where a lot of short holes need to be drilled quickly. This drill is much simpler than some other machines that can accomplish the same work. The simplicity is very important because is makes the machine more reliable and lower in maintenance costs. Most other drill designers don’t even strive for this simplicity.
